Bewley's Grafton Street _

A multi-story historic café featuring grand art-deco interiors, house-roasted coffee, and famous stained-glass windows. The building itself dates back to the 18th century when it housed an academy where Oscar Wilde studied, and the current interior retains open fireplaces, high ceilings, and massive stained-glass windows by Harry Clarke. Because it runs on full table service and stays consistently packed, it functions much more like a grand European restaurant than a laptop-friendly workspace, so plan to visit for a proper screen break rather than a work session. They roast their own Fairtrade coffee on the upper floors of the building. Skip the standard lunch menu and order the house-baked scones and sticky buns; they are made using a decades-old recipe and come served fresh with cream and jam.
